Regional AIDS Training Network www.ratn.org
The Regional AIDS Training Network (RATN) is an International NGO working in nine countries in Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) region. These are Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Lesotho and South Africa. It is a network of twenty three Member Institutions that was established to combat STIs/HIV/AIDS in the region.
RATN functions as a catalyst to strengthen the capacities of training institutions and a forum for the exchange of ideas and experiences. Through its Secretariat based in Nairobi, Kenya, RATN adapts and develops short-term skills-upgrading courses and suppors Members Institutions in delivering these courses targeting mid-level STIs/HIV/AIDS workers, trainers, program managers and senior policy makers. |
