Who Are We?
CONNECT (Z.I.S.T) is a Zimbabwean welfare organisation (registration no. 7/85) staffed by professional counsellors and trainers. It offers counselling, training and consultancy services to all sectors of the community on a wide range of presenting problems.

CONNECT promotes the systemic approach to counselling and training which involves taking each problem as a whole and looking at it in relation to the family, organisation and community.

CONNECT is the leading Zimbabwean training organisation in family therapy and systemic counselling, offering long term “distance education” courses for grassroots workers as well as more intensive training in family therapy for those wishing to specialise in the field. Short courses are also available on specific training needs, according to demand.

Membership
CONNECT has a growing number of members who participate in the organisation and enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship with the organisation. As a member, one is eligible to receive our in-house magazine “CONNECT UP”. Membership is available on application to the Administrator. The membership year runs from January to Decembers.

Journal
We are appealing for articles in the field of family therapy to be published in our journal. The deadline of submission is 10 November 2009. The journal is expected to be published and distributed by mid-December
